Avoid using a rewritable CD (CD-WR). We’ve encountered compatibility problems with them.
Preparing your Presentation:
The National Advanced Fire and Resource Institute has an excellent
Audio/Visual resource webpage that we highly recommend you take advantage of.
http://www.nafri.gov/pages/av_intropage.htm.
In addition, the institutes Visual Information Specialists are available to give
you advice or help you prepare your presentation free of charge.

Please feel free to contact them directly.
Speaker Ready Room
All speakers are required to check in at the speaker ready table at least 4 hours prior to their session, or earlier if possible. This will ensure their presentation can be opened and loaded onto the conference computer system. All final adjustments can be made at this time. Check in at the conference registration table to receive additional information about the speaker ready room.

12:30 pm the day of your session. Posters must be taken down immediately after
your session to allow the next round of posters to be placed.

Each day before lunch we will have a Video Preview of the posters that
will be presented during that day’s poster session. Each poster presenter
is encouraged to submit a one-minute video to promote your poster and invite
conference participants to visit your poster during the session. The

opportunity to do a short oral presentation, use this opportunity to be
creative!
The deadline for submitting your video is September 15, 2010. Your video should be compatible with QuickTime and should be as high a resolution as possible in 4:3 format. Submit via e-mail to Mikel Robinson at mikel.robinson@umontana.edu. If you have any questions about the specs please contact Mikel at 406/243-2979.

We will provide 1 poster panel board measuring 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
We recommend that you leave at least a 2-inch margin on all sides of your
poster. We will provide you with pushpins or Velcro to attach your posters
to the panel.
Please include a picture of the individual who will be presenting the poster. This will allow conference participants to locate you if they have questions about your poster.
If you need any additional space or equipment for your poster please let us know as soon as possible. (Anna Trott, E: info@iawfonline.org, P: 1-888-440-4293)
