Tom Harbour is Director of Fire and Aviation for the USDA Forest Service and a leading proponent of wildland firefighter safety. Tom will address the Summit on the accomplishments of the TriData study:
The TriData study resulted in significant change for the wildland fire community. A few of the major accomplishments will be reviewed and highlighted. The TriData study is one of the building blocks that provides the foundation of where we are today: on the threshold of widespread understanding and practice of rigorous risk management. This talk will focus on the future of risk management as we build on the legacy of the TriData study.
Kim Lightley, USFS Prineville Hotshot

Kim Lightley was a surviving USFS Prineville Hotshot crewmember from the July 6th, 1994 Storm King Mountain Fire in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Unable to outrun the wall of flame, 14-firefighters, nine from the USFS Prineville Hotshot crew, perished. Her talk will capture lessons learned and her journey to recovery.
