Levels of Partnership for Non-IAWF Conferences

The International Association of Wildland Fire is pleased to consider parntering or sponsoring other organizations' conferences. Please review the following levels then contact us to discuss the options. Please contact Mikel Robinson via email or phone (01) 406-531-8264.

Cooperating Partner

IAWF will:
Add partner conference to IAWF Calendar on webpage.

Expectations:
Listing of at least one IAWF upcoming conference on cooperating partner’s webpage.

 

Collaborating Partner

IAWF will:
Add conference to IAWF Calendar on webpage.
Add conference to IAWF home page as partner conference.
Send periodic conference announcements/updates to IAWF mailing list (5000+) and add to IAWF Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In).

Expectations:
IAWF Logo on partner conference webpage.
Complimentary exhibit table or appropriate space to display IAWF promotional materials.
Complimentary registration for one or more IAWF representatives.
Opportunity to place IAWF materials in delegate packets (Wildfire Magazine, IAWF Brochure, etc.).
If needed agree upon and sign a Memorandum of Agreement.

 

Supporting Partner

IAWF will:
Provide either financial, trade or in-kind support to partner conference.
This may include:

    • Advertising in Wildfire Magazine or IJWF
    • Logistics support by IAWF Staff
    • Financial contribution
    • Other

Expectations:
IAWF Logo on partner conference webpage.
Negotiable depending on existing benefits indicated by partner.
If needed agree upon and sign a Memorandum of Agreement.

 

Integrated Partner (Co-host)

Both Parties will:
Work on aspects of conference planning (planning team, promotion, sponsorship, promotion, etc.). Responsibilities and terms to be negotiated.
Share revenue/losses and expenses. Amounts and terms to be negotiated.
Agree upon and sign a Memorandum of Agreement.

Note: This level of partnership will require extensive discussion and meetings between the leadership in both organizations.
