1st International Smoke Syposium Proceedings (2013)

Oral Presentration Guidelines (PDF)

Poster Presentation Guidelines (PDF)

Presentations Loading All speakers are required to turn in their presentations the day prior to their scheduled presentation. For instance, if you are presenting on Tuesday you must turn in your presentation on Monday. If you are presenting on Wednesday, your presentation must be turned in by the end of the day on Tuesday and so forth. This is extremely important so we can load your presentation on the Virtual Conference platform.

Ignite Talks: For those giving an Ignite talk, set up your power point presentation to automatically transition every 15 seconds, and limit to 20 slides. It will take some practice on your part to ensure you are able to stay on time. You will nothave control of the slide show, it will just automatically advance.

Presentation Upload

VIRTUAL CONFERENCE: The symposium will be conducted as a hybrid conference, combining the live event with a virtual conference. Each presenter will be required to give us permission to videotape your presentation.  If you do not wish to be videotaped but let me know as soon as possible at execdir@iawfonline.org.
