The call for papers is now closed. The online system is open until September 13th for authors to update their abstracts. Notices were sent out August 12th, if you submitted a proposal and have not heard from us, please e-mail.

Proceedings: We will publish a non-peer reviewed Proceedings after the Symposium approximately 6 months after that conference (April 2014). The deadline for paper submission will be November 30, 2013. The guidelines and deadline will be sent out shortly, as well as posted on this conference webpage

Schedule & Format: Please reference the detailed Program Schedule to see when your session is scheduled. Unless otherwise noted in the program most presentations are 20 minutes long, please ensure that you don’t run over your allotted time by practicing your talk prior to the conference. 

Meeting Room Standard Equipment

  • One LCD Projector
  • One laptop computer
  • One lavaliere microphone
  • One presentation remote with laser pointer
  • One screen of appropriate size
  • Internet access

Presenters will be required to use the IAWF-supplied laptop computer. The IAWF computer will have the following software installed: Microsoft Power Point 2010, Adobe Acrobat 10.x or higher, QuickTime 7.x or higher, Macromedia Flash Player 11.x or higher, and Internet Explorer 8.x or higher. Please bring your presentation on one of the following media:

  • USB flash drive
  • CD-R

Presentations Loading: All speakers are required to turn in their presentations during the specified hours that will be posted.  This will ensure their presentation can be opened and loaded onto the conference computer system.  All final adjustments can be made at this time.
